Although the size and diversity of the Queen Mary College give it all the characteristics and facilities of a university in its own right, it is also part of the federal University of London, a wide-ranging body comprising some 40 academic institutions and 120,000 students. The Queen Mary College was admitted to the University of London in 1915. It is one of the largest multi-faculty colleges of the University of London.
With over 11,500 U.K., European and international students studying in four faculties plus, the Queen Mary College is just 15 minutes away from central London. The College offers a wide range of choices in both undergraduate and postgraduate level. The programmes include subjects like Biological and Chemical Science; Computer Science; Economics; English and Drama; Law; Linguistics; Medical-related Subjects; Philosophy; Physics; and Politics. Apart from that, it also offers Foundation courses to its students that includes International Foundation Course and Science & Engineering Foundation Programme.
