Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II opened the London Business School in 1970. It is located in Regent’s Park, NW1 4SA, London. On 3 September 1986, London Business School was incorporated by Royal Charter and under the charter the school changed its name from 'London Graduate School of Business' to 'London Business School'.
In January 1983, the first part-time master’s students, studying the Executive MBA, entered the School and in 2001 the first EMBA-Global degree in partnership with Columbia Business School was offered.
London Business School is a top ten global business school that offers two-year MBA outside North America. The school also provides the only one-year Sloan Fellowship programme in Europe and a Master’s in Finance course that is the global leader in its field.
Graduates from London Business School are highly talented individuals who have diverse international backgrounds and possess skills to meet every need. The school provides a variety of pre-eminent degree programmes. The programmes include a two-year MBA program on international general management, Master’s programme in Finance, Sloan Fellowship programme for international managers (preparing them for top positions around the world), a two-year Executive MBA programme in international general management, and an Executive MBA Global programme, offered jointly with Columbia Business School.
