The University of Glamorgan has at present more than 21,000 students to its modern campus, out of which, students on campus account to 18,222, or 85.4 percent of the total number of students, and students at partner colleges account to 3,104, or 14.6 percent. Among the total number of students, 2,463 students are international students.
The University of Glamorgan offers over 200 courses in a wide range of subjects. The university offers both full-time and part-time programmes. At present, there are 46.1% (9,833) of the total number of students pursuing full time undergraduate programs, while the number for full-time post-graduate programmes are 990, or 4.6 percent of the total number of students. 8,521 students are pursuing part-time undergraduate programs, while the remaining 1,982 students are under part-time postgraduate programmes.
The National Teaching Quality Assessments has awarded the highest accolade of ‘Excellent’ to twelve teaching areas of the University of Glamorgan. They includes Accounting and Finance, Business and Management (campus provision), Business and Management (franchised provision), Business Administration, Creative Writing, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Minerals Surveying, Public Sector Schemes, Surveying for Resource Development, Theatre and Media Drama, and Welsh for Adults.
