London Metropolitan University, Jewry Street, London, has a history of providing education from as early as 1848. The university was formed as a result of the merger of London Guildhall University and the University of North London in the year 2002. London Metropolitan University operates from its two campuses, the London North campus and London City campus.
The institution offers several programs that include undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The institution offers professional and vocational education and training programs too. The various programs are structured after extensive research as well as consultation with the industry experts as well as the governing bodies resulting in high quality programs. The faculty members are selected based on their qualifications and experience.
The London Metropolitan University comprises of 14 departments offering a variety of programs. These programs lead up to bachelor's, masters, diplomas, certificates as well as postgraduate diplomas and certificates. The classes are offered in the day as well as in the evenings. In addition, courses in accounting, architecture, arts, banking and finance, Business, law, computer, education, polymer engineering etc are offered.
London Metropolitan University has seven libraries which offer students abundant material to conduct their research or for reference purposes. The university has a very good record in the sports department too. There are two gyms, one in each campus. The institution also offers a variety of entry courses for the international students.
