College of Law was formed by the law society in the 1960s. The law college has six branches in the U.K. The college of law formation led to a huge change in training regulations of the law society. The college provides legal training during post-graduation in the U.K.
College of law provides courses for non-law and law graduates, along with a wide range of professional development and training courses for all. This year, the London center of College of law will open its doors to corporate training programmes. The college will no doubt be preferred by corporate lawyers. For non-law graduates, a Part 1 course was introduced. Part 2 courses are also available for law graduates as well as those who have completed the Part I course.
Law College offers GDL (graduate diploma in law), also known as common professional exam (CPE), for non-law graduates. It offers Legal practice course (LPC) for qualified lawyers or those who have GDL and Bar vocational course (BVC) for prospective lawyers.
Prospective student sections will help you know about the courses and how to apply for them. The professional development section will help trainees and qualified lawyers learn more about continuing professional development. This course helps the qualified lawyers gain expertise in order to provide the best advice to their clients, continue developing knowledge, and remain competitive.
The college helps the students in finding jobs by conducting recruitments. To apply for a job, the student needs to contact the human resources department.
