York College caters to the needs of a wide range of students, offering part time courses, commercial programmes and higher education courses. Located in the city of York, England, the college also offers study options for students from around the world and offers extra assistance for visa renewals, opening bank accounts, personal counselling and English tuition. Accommodation assistance is also provided.
The college offers a range of courses to suit the needs of students who are either looking to study further or who are aiming to join the work force on graduating. A number of part time courses are available for subjects such as business management, counselling skills, IT and computing, language and communication as well as childcare. Higher education programmes are available for business management, technology and science and expressive arts. York College also offers commercial courses for local businesses to help them train and enhance the working skills of their employees.
Student Services are available to provide students with assistance in matters relating to accommodation, career or personal problems. The college also provides assistance with funding and financial matters. A learning resource centre, equipped with computers, internet access, books, periodicals, CD-ROMS and help desks is available for students.
