Catering mainly to the educational needs of 14-19 year olds to undergraduates, adults and businesses, South East Essex College of Arts & Technology is one of the largest colleges in South East England. It helps its students to achieve their goals whether they wish to proceed for higher education, earn a qualification, and take up employment or just for gaining knowledge and fun. Hundreds of courses are available both for the students and for the employers who need training.
In partnership with the University of Essex, South East Essex College of Arts & Technology also offers further and higher education facilities with the obvious advantage that students who join at 16 can continue until the end of their educational journey. The college has expert and well-qualified staff, ultra-modern facilities, and an amiable environment that is very conducive for the learning process. The student support team of the college is very helpful to the students as it provides guidance and advice on all aspects of learning and education.
The Learning and Skills Council have awarded the Centre of Vocational Excellence in Information and Communications Technology to the South East Essex College of Arts & Technology. In close cooperation with four other awardees, South East Essex College caters to the current and future information and ICT skills needs of the businesses in Essex. It has also received the COVE award for Media Technology. By virtue of these certifications, South East Essex College has become a very useful partner and provider of skilled training to the businesses of the area.
