Founded in 1845, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama is situated in a modern designed building in Glasgow, Scotland. The School of Music offers students a choice of three undergraduate courses of four years each. The courses offered are Bmus. With Honours, BEd (Music) with Honours and BA Scottish Piping.

The postgraduate degrees offered by the college are Master of Music (Mmus.) in either Performance, Opera, Composition or Conducting, Master of Opera (Mopera). The School of Drama offers four Bachelor of Arts degrees in Contemporary Theatre Practice, Acting, Technical & Production and Arts and Digital Film & TV.

The College also offers postgraduate courses like MA in Arts in Social Contexts degree and one-year diplomas and certificates. The college also invites research proposals from students wanting to pursue a Ph D. degree. All degrees are validated by the University of St. Andrew's.
