Prior Pursglove College believes in utilising its resources to the fullest so that the level of excellence can increase day by day. In keeping with it, they have courses that reflect the ever-changing job market. The students who pass out from here find job easily or are motivated to go for higher studies. They also encourage learning in all stages of life. Leisure courses are also offered so that people learn a new hobby or two.
The Full Time Courses
All sixth form courses are full time courses. A total of 67 courses are offered here. Besides English, the languages offered here are, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Latin. Accountancy and Business studies are also taught along with Mathematics, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Art and Design to name a few.
Adult And Leisure Courses
The adult courses are part time and aimed at the development of the person in every way. Courses like Confidence Building are there to increase confidence level and other courses like Business Improvement Technique also help to progress in business. There are also courses that will help somebody start a new career like Indian Head Massage, Dressmaking and Alternative Therapies. There are beginner’s courses in foreign languages like Spanish, French, and Italian as well as on computers, word processors, and spreadsheets, using the Internet. There are leisure courses like Shoutabout Playschemes, Children’s Parties, Health and fitness. There are also learn direct courses that can be taken up along with other courses that you are already learning at the college and these courses are very flexible.
