The sisters of Notre Dame de Namur ran a girls’ school for almost ninety years before the Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College was formed. In 1989 the Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College was formed to serve as a sixth form college for the Catholics in the Leeds area.
The college offers courses at foundation level 1, 2 and 3 and with more than 30 A level subjects, GCSEs and an array of vocational courses, there is a choice for everyone. The college’s examination results are outstanding and the pass rate in most of the A level subjects has been consistently over 90% since the time it has opened. The college has been named as a “particularly successful college” by the Chief Inspector of Schools in his annual report and its students go on to get higher learning like a degree or even employment.
The courses offered by the college leads to A level, AS/A2 and advanced A level qualifications. The courses are offered in the following subject areas:
