The Norton Radstock College based in Radstock was established in 1948. It is known for its vocational training programmes and has about 100 apprentices who have undertaken work based learning in several diverse areas of learning. The college also has its sixth form centre called B6 at Broadlands School in Keynsham and an animal care centre at Ellsbridge House. It also teaches IT bases courses at its centres in Radstock and Keynsham.
Earlier mainly catering to adult students, the age profile of the students has undergone a sea change in recent years especially in its full time courses where 82% of its 794 students in the year 2002/03 comprised of ages between 16 to 18 years.
