The Northumberland College has two main campuses namely the Ashington Campus and the Kirkley Hall (near Ponteland). Apart from the two main campuses, the college also has smaller sites in Blyth, Alnwick and Berwick. A mobile class in the form of a bus is used to impart education in the rural areas of Northumberland. Even though the subjects taught through the bus are limited, it does add up to something.
The Northumberland caters to the education needs of people across the different sections of the society. While some of the students are fresh out of school, others may be working professionals or adults. The college offers education in the following subject areas:

The courses begin from the entry level and go on up till post A qualifications. The college also provides Higher National Certificates and Higher National Diplomas besides Foundation Degrees and B. Sc (Hons).
If you are a young parent and cannot afford a babysitter, don’t let that stop you from getting an education. The Northumberland College provides support services like child day care centre for all its students. There are other services for the students who have learning or physical disabilities.
