This seat of learning is located in West Sussex in and around the town of Worthing. Northbrook College has four campuses, each campus catering to various disciplines. This college was established in 1986 with the merger of Worthing College of Technology, the West Sussex College of Art and Design, and Chelsea College of Aeronautical Engineering.
The student community of Northbrook College is a large group of nearly 16,000 ranging from high school students to adult learners. Courses are also offered at various levels of competence and in numerous disciplines. Northbrook College offers its students the flexibility of choosing between part time, full time, evening, or even online courses.
The College offers various skill-building courses. The college has its own restaurant, hair and beauty salons, recording studios, and floristry shops where the students can learn on the job. Young students are offered apprenticeship in certain areas of skill in Northbrook. Each of the campuses has its own libraries. The college has three computer centers with its own trained staff, which offers online courses and IT training.
Northbrook College has its own professional theatre, benefiting the art students and the local public. Other resources include a hangar housing four planes belonging to the college and various studios and workshops.
There is a student's service team in place, which aids students in selection of courses and getting aid and accommodation.
