New College Nottingham aims to be a world-class college enhancing the lives of its students. The college is one of the biggest Further Education colleges in the UK. It offers a wide variety of full time as well as part-time courses. The college is an essential part of the Nottingham community, having centres situated all through the city. New College Nottingham offers a variety of courses at all levels starting from GCSEs to degree-level education. There are a wide variety of subjects and qualifications from where you can choose. The college offers a completely cosmopolitan atmosphere with students coming from a variety of cultural background. The college attracts a lot of international students too.
New College Nottingham has four Centres of Vocational Excellence namely The Nottingham Academy of Hospitality and Catering, East Midlands Centre of Retail Excellence, Early Years and the East Midlands Construction CoVE. The college also offers Apprenticeship curriculum in partnership with the Learning and Skills Council. The apprenticeship programs provide you with the required real life experience as well as pocket money for the students. The Learning and Skills Council’s Train to Gain scheme is at the core of the employer engagement performance of the college. It ensures that the organisation has access to the correct advice and training. The college has been awarded for emskills quality mark for outstanding provision in employer commitment.
