Farnborough College of Technology offers students a variety of academic and vocational programmes. The Higher education courses offered by the institution are validated by the University of Surrey. The excellent facilities, the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and the latest equipments and teaching aids ensures that a high quality of education is maintained. It is complimented by very skilled and dedicated staff members who are experts in their respective fields. The various programmes have been structured to suit the growing needs of the industry and the community. The Farnborough campus comprises of seven schools of study. It has a well equipped learning resource centre with many workstations and provides students access to many thousand books and journals. A nursery is also located on site to support students and staff.
Farnborough College of Technology offers support services to students with disabilities and learning disorders. It also provides students with help in securing financial aid and offers them personal support services such as Chaplaincy and counselling too. The information centre offers various services and students are offered career guidance as well as help in selecting further education programmes. The institution also has a Connexions personal advisor to guide students aged 16-19.
Farnborough College of Technology has achieved CoVE status in the fields of Applied ICT and Business. School leavers, adult learners, international students and employers will have many interesting choices to consider. Students may take up programmes to train them for further education or they may prepare for entry level jobs. Students who wish to change careers or wish to upgrade their skills will have plenty of options too.
