Exeter College is a large institution offering a range of educational programs to students of different age groups. It offers programs both full and part-time. The full time students are taught in the institutions modern and extremely well equipped specialist classrooms and in the centres found at Marsh Barton and Sowton Industrial Estates. The part-time access and community education programs are offered at various centres as well as at the institution.
Exeter College has a sports academy where students can take up academic as well as vocational courses and receive specialist sports coaching too. The students have to be aged 16-18 and competition is stiff to be selected as a member of the sports academy. The students will receive excellent coaching to help them succeed as sportsmen and receive excellent grades in the courses of their choice. At the music academy, students may take up programs in music to earn AS, A2, National certificates and Diplomas, or an International Baccalaureate. Students who are selected will also receive free training to learn two instruments.
Exeter College has five Learning Centres and has the latest in ICT facilities providing students with access to high-speed internet connection and several work stations. The institution also uses the latest teaching aides and the latest equipments to give them quality education. Students can choose from GCSEs, AS, A2 Levels, BTECH nationals, NVQs, and International Baccalaureate. Higher education programs, apprenticeship, e2e, adult education programs and key skills courses are available to the students.
