Eastleigh College is a further and higher educational institution that provides students with a supportive and friendly environment that is conducive to learning. The institution has an annual student population of about 7000 students, who are supported and trained by extremely experienced and well trained staff. It operates from three campuses and several centres. It has also been awarded the Action for Business status. The institution has the latest facilities and equipments as well as teaching aides, to ensure that students get good quality education. The institution also maintains close ties with the industries, to ensure that the programs include the latest skills that are currently in demand.
Eastleigh College delivers a range of vocational and leisure courses as part-time programs. Part-time programs are offered during the day or evenings and they are offered free of charge to students aged 16-19. Some of the free courses include GCSEs, and NVQs. Students are assigned student tutors, who will them with any difficulties that they may encounter in their personal or college life.
Eastleigh College offers assistance to students in securing financial aid packages such as, learner support funds, EMAs, childcare grants, travel allowances, loans and other aid packages. Students can take up more than 1000 courses. Apprenticeships and workforce training programs are also available. Access to higher education programs is available to adult students, who have no formal qualifications but desire to pursue further education in Universities. Several skills for life programs are also available.
