Dartington College of Arts is a college of its own kind. It is one of the very few colleges that offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees on contemporary art practices. It gives students a special atmosphere to learn contemporary arts and contribute more towards this dynamic and committed field of performers. Every year, students from diverse backgrounds and countries join this enriching curriculum and indulge themselves in this completely new framework of learning in Dartington College of Arts.
Dartington College of Arts was established in 1961, and some of the most famous artists and educationists laid the groundwork. Since 1961, Dartington College of arts has established itself to be a specialist college funded by Higher Education Funding Council for England HEFCE. Degrees offered by the university are authenticated in partnership with the University of Plymouth.
Dartington college of Arts provides undergraduate, post graduate and research programs in six fields of study, namely, choreography, theatre, writing, visual performance, music and art and cultural management. In addition to all these programs, artists from all over the world come and contribute to the richness of community learning and practice at Dartington College of Arts.
Application for undergraduates and post graduate students are conducted through the UCAS. Application forms are usually available from September. International students can contact the British Council for admission requirements. Research students are admitted in October. Late admission is considered only on exceptional grounds.
