Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor is based in Wales and offers a wide range of further education courses for students who are adults or school leavers. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the college during its Open Days, in order to learn more about the facilities that are available, what the courses are about, and to interact with faculty members. The college also takes part in a number of career conventions, so students can interact with them there as well.
Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor gives students the opportunity to pursue their A and AS Level courses, as well as, NVQ and National Diploma programs. Students can also learn and earn money and valuable practical experience as well, by undergoing modern apprenticeship courses. Students can choose from a wide range of subjects like, hospitality, construction, higher education, and business. The college also offers extensive student support services, which include a Learner Support Unit. This unit helps students develop their study skills as well as learn how to take notes and be effective time managers.
Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor also offers career guidance and advice for students, hoping to land a job after course completion. This includes help in building a CV and in developing interview skills. Students, who are looking to study further, can get more information on universities as well as help in filling out applications.
