City of Bristol College is a comprehensive higher and further education institution that offers various programs to students from all walks of life. The various programs on successful graduation may lead up to qualifications such as BTECs, A Levels, NVQs, HND and HNCs. It also offers Access to Higher Education courses, as well as Apprenticeships programs. Students may also take up Foundation Degrees, or opt for any of the many postgraduate courses available. The institution offers full as well as part-time programs to students aged 14 as well as to adult learners. It has a total student population of more than 42000 students.
City of Bristol College has various centres in Ashley Down, Bedminster, and College Green. It also has centres in Lawrence Weston, Hartcliffe, Monarch House, Parkway and Soundwell. The institution offers about 1000 day/evening part-time programs and offers more than 100 higher education programs as well as several University Level programs. The institution in partnership with various organizations offers about 1000 community educational programs in more than 30 centres.
City of Bristol College offers support to students with disabilities, learner support and assistance is offered to help deserving students secure financial aid. Students are also offered other services such as learning resource centres that are modern and well equipped with more than 70,000 books as well as several audio-visual materials, Crèche and nurseries are also available in some of the centres. Students with learning disabilities are also offered support services. Students may also access their learning material due to the e-Resources that are made accessible to them.
