Established in 2006, Castle College Nottingham was formed, when Broxtowe College and The People's College Nottingham were combined to form one educational institution. As a result, Castle College Nottingham has a number of campuses and learning centres in Nottingham City, Boston, Long Eaton, Staple ford, Eastwood, and Kimberley.
Castle College Nottingham regularly holds Information evenings, where prospective students can come and see the college and its facilities. They also have a chance to meet with some of the faculty and learn more about the courses that are offered. The college currently has a wide range of courses including A Level courses, access to higher education programs, and a number of certificate and diploma courses. These courses are available on a full time and part time basis.
The college provides a childcare facility at a number of centres, for students with children. Employer services are also available on a full time and part time basis and apprenticeships are also available, which can be beneficial to both the employer and the student. Castle College Nottingham is open to students from the international community and has a number of International Teams on hand, to help students with their queries. Support is also offered which includes free airport pick up, an induction programme to help students settle in, a personal tutor, free English lessons, and a number of social programmes to help students interact and meet new people.
