Located in Birmingham, Cadbury Sixth Form College has the distinction of offering more A level courses than any other college in the city. The college provides over 40 A level courses as well as a number of adult education programmes. Students between the age of 16 and 19 can choose from a number of subjects, like, accounting, law and sociology. GCSE courses like English and biology are also available.
Cadbury Sixth Form College prides itself in achieving a 96% pass rate for its A Level courses. 1200 former students have also successfully made it to the University. The college also offers a range of adult learning courses which are available in evening sessions or as community courses. The college provides free childcare for students during classes and there is an adult learning centre available. This centre offers students the use of computers as well as a sports hall and lecture hall. Most classes are offered free of cost.
Cadbury Sixth Form College has a number of facilities that are open for students’ use. These include extensive sports facilities, IT equipment, laboratories, a music department, and a rehearsal space. The college also has a tutorial system, which consists of a personal tutor for each full time student as well as group sessions. Student counsellors and financial aid are also available. The college also offers assistance in helping students plan their careers by calling in guest speakers and conducting practice interviews.
