Based in East Sussex, Bexhill College is home to over 1150 full time students and offers a wide range of courses. School leavers can choose from foundation level courses, BTEC national diploma programs, A Levels, vocational A Levels and GCSE courses. The college will also waive all tuition fees for students who enrol before the age of 19.
The college also has a comprehensive course selection for adult learners, who can choose from subjects such as IT, cookery and web design. There are academic courses also available as well as Skills for Life classes which help develop skills in Math, literacy and IT. Apprenticeships are also available as well as School Centered Initial Teacher Training programs.
Bexhill College believes in being a strong bridge between the school and subsequent forays into the job market or higher education. As a result, students are encouraged to take up responsibility for their studies and use their time wisely. This means that there are no timetabled classes for every hour and students are expected to learn to make the most of their time. The college also has a number of specialist resource materials to help students with their studying and assignments.
Bexhill College also believes that parents play a very important role in the life of every student. Parents are be informed periodically of their child's progress and in the event that a student's issues cannot be sorted out, the parents are contacted directly.
